Terms of Use

Last updated: July 10, 2026

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the StreamAscend website and service, a free toolkit for Twitch streamers (OBS overlays, stream schedule, growth dashboard, chat tools, etc.). By using StreamAscend, you agree to these Terms without reservation.

2. Access to the Service

Access to the StreamAscend dashboard requires logging in via your Twitch account (OAuth protocol). You must have a valid Twitch account and comply with Twitch's terms of use. Some public pages (OBS overlays, shared schedule, homepage) are accessible without logging in.

3. Description of the Service

StreamAscend is provided free of charge, in beta. The service notably offers: an exportable stream schedule, live stream goals, customizable OBS overlays (chat, alerts, info bars, emote rain…), a Twitch growth statistics dashboard, and chat bot management tools. The list of available features may change without notice.

Some features may be labeled "Premium." Access to them is currently granted on a case-by-case basis; any specific terms will be communicated to you separately if applicable.

4. User Account

You are solely responsible for the use of your StreamAscend account and the confidentiality of your Twitch session. Any action taken from your account is deemed to have been performed by you. You may invite other people to act as "editors" on your account via the dedicated feature; you remain responsible for your editors' actions.

5. User Obligations

By using StreamAscend, you agree to:

6. Moderation

In the event of non-compliance with these Terms, StreamAscend reserves the right to suspend or ban an account, temporarily or permanently, without notice or compensation.

7. Service Availability

StreamAscend is a continuously developed service, provided free of charge. The publisher makes best efforts to ensure the continuity and quality of the service, without however guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Interruptions related to maintenance, updates, or force majeure may occur.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is." The publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including data loss, interruption of streaming activity, or malfunction of third-party services (Twitch, hosting provider, etc.) over which the publisher has no direct control.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you create through the service (schedules, notes, text, customizations). You grant StreamAscend a limited right to display and process this content, strictly necessary for the service to function (for example, displaying your schedule on a public page you share).

10. Termination

You may stop using StreamAscend at any time. To request permanent deletion of your account and data, contact contact.capsloque@gmail.com.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be modified at any time to reflect changes to the service or applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall, failing an amicable resolution, fall under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
